The successful hosting of the Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games and of dozens of other important sport events in Athens over the years, has left significant legacy in the city as they were the main reason for significant infrastructure works (known as Olympic works) and the construction of sport and tourist facilities of high standards, able to fully meet the requirements of any major event. Furthermore, the staffing and volunteering programs in all sports and venues have resulted in creating a great pool of experienced and specialized executives able to respond to the needs of any top level event.
SPORTCAMP was used as pre-Games Training Centre for many Olympic National Teams from Greece and abroad and as such it was listed in the “Greece 2001-2004, The Official Pre-Games Training Guide”.
