Venue

Municipal Swimming Center of Loutraki City

Main pool: 50m, outdoor pool, 8 lanes

Warming up pool: 25m, outdoor pool, 8 lanes

Water temperature: 26,5οC

The competition will be held from Saturday 16th of June to Sunday 17th of June 2018.

Timing

Electronic timekeeping equipment will be used.

Rules

The competition will be carried out under FINA Rules and Regulations.

Eligibility

Only swimmers who are registered in their National Federations, which are members of FINA, are eligible to participate in the competition.

Age Groups

1. Girls and Boys born in 2000-2001 (17-18 years old)

2. Girls and Boys born in 2002-2003 (15-16 years old)

3. Girls and Boys born in 2004-2005 (12-14 years old)

4. Girls and Boys born in 2006-2007 (11-12 years old)

Competition Schedule

The competition will be held in four (4) sessions in final heats.

Technical meeting: 15th of June at 17:00, at the venue of the event.

1st Session: Saturday 16th of June at 09:30

2nd Session: Saturday 16th of June at 17:30

3rd Session: Sunday 17th of June at 09:00

4th Session: Sunday 17th of June at 17:30

Terms and Regulations of the Event

• All countries can have an unlimited number of teams.
• Each team can register an unlimited number of swimmers in each event.
• Each swimmer can compete in up to 5 individual events in total and in relay events.
• Each team can register one team compete in each relay event for each Age Group.
• Swimmers of Age Groups A, B and C will be placed in the final heats in open category form, according to their times. Only times made from 1/10/2017 in 50m swimming pools will be considered. Age Group D swimmers will compete separately and will be placed in the final heats according to their times (made from 1/10/2017).
• Results will be published for each Age Group (Boys and Girls). Awards will be made for each Age Group (Boys and Girls)
• As mentioned above in the competition schedule, the technical meeting will take place on Friday at 17:00.
• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes in order to ensure a successful competition.
• In 1500m and 800m Boys and Girls events, there will be 2 final heats for all Age Groups (A, B, C), which will be formatted according to swimmers’ best times from 1/10/2017.

Awards

• Medals, diplomas and souvenirs will be awarded in every event for the first three places of each Age Group.
• In each Age Group (A, B, C) the best swimmer (Boy and Girl) will be awarded. The best swimmer will be determined according to FINA Points Table. Concerning Age Group D, best swimmer (Boy and Girl) will be determined by the number of 1st places achieved and, if needed, by a draw.
• All participants will be given a certificate of participation.
